The IAESTE day team encourages you to celebrate IAESTE Day, a promotional event that allows your country to celebrate IAESTE. This year, IAESTE day is Friday, October 21, or one or two days on either side of this date, if October 21 is not convenient for your country. We would like as many countries as possible to participate so that IAESTE Day is a truly global event.

The theme for this year's IAESTE Day is 'Alumni - Remembering friends' and is an opportunity for you to reach out to current and former IAESTE members and trainees and gather together for a celebration of the unique organisation that is IAESTE.

It is also an opportunity for you to reconnect with former members who may now be in a position to offer traineeships or sponsorship to IAESTE in your country.

Here are a couple of examples of things you might like to do on IAESTE Day:

• Invite guest speakers - Significant/famous alumni/company heads etc
• Hold a dinner for alumni- could be formal or food made by trainees
• Gather together to remember friends that are sadly no longer with us
• Hold a celebration in the evening for all former and current members
• Organize some games or sports - make it a fun event for people
